 Description  « Hide
What do you think about adding launched rake tasks to the progress window? It would be really useful because I have some tasks that last at least 20-30 secs (database fixture loading, synchronizing test schema) but even for the short lived ones like generating a new model it would be nice. Now what I do is launch the generator, go continue coding and some seconds later I go back to check if it has finished. With the progress window I would only need to look if the progress icon is still moving or not at the bottom.

This is an enhancement and therefore shouldn't be targeted at a bugfix release stream. At best it will get targeted for the next major release, which is 1.2.0.

Hudson Build System - 19/Mar/09 01:00 PM
