Environment: My Pentium IV runs an english version of Windows XP-SP2 with all the updates installed and I'm using a portuguese keyboard. I also run Aptana in english. About Aptana info: build 1.1.0.007007

Importance: Major
Studio Install Type: Standalone
Operating System: Windows XP
Relevant Browser: Internet Explorer (IE), Firefox
Last Known Good Version: In previous versions of Aptana I didn't have this issue.
Participants: Carlos Dias, Ingo Muschenetz and Svetlana Shcherbina

 Description  « Hide
Everytime I start Aptana, I have to go to Preferences... General » Workspace and set the "Text file encoding" to ISO-8859-1. Otherwise, if I forget to do so, I get my XHTML files with portuguese language characters in a mess because Apatana allways starts in UTF-8 mode.

Once switched the encoding is saved.
