Everytime I start Aptana, I have to go to Preferences... General » Workspace and set the "Text file encoding" to ISO-8859-1. Otherwise, if I forget to do so, I get my XHTML files with portuguese language characters in a mess because Apatana allways starts in UTF-8 mode.
