 Description  « Hide
The name that is displayed over the Icon that appears in the Apple dock reads "java" instead of "Aptana" as it did in previous versions.

My Aptana build number is: 1.0.0.003242
The form field below rejected it!

I'm rocking Aptana Studio 1.0.2 and I've got the same issue (again, with Leopard). Totally not critical, just kind of annoying from a UI standpoint. To add more detail, when I click the Aptana icon (already in my dock) to launch Aptana, it launches a separate icon titled "java" at the end of my dock as though it were a program that didn't previously live on my dock. Azureus is running in a JVM too, and doesn't have this issue, so I don't think it's entirely a Java/Leopard issue.

This bug has been duplicated a few other places, but this was the earliest one I found.

Hi, I have the same issue and this is really annoying.
I want to upgrade to professional version but while this issue is persisting, I don't think I can convince my boss to pay $100 for a buggy software.
Would you please fix it?

Nathan - 08/Jan/08 05:43 AM
I would also really like this issue fixed. Again, it is not in anyway critical but it gets to me every time I open Aptana.

Eric Grissom - 28/Feb/08 04:00 PM
Same here. Just upgraded. Even dragging over the app into the doc results in it having two aptana icons in the doc, not the worst problem in the world, but totally annoying.

As of build 1.1.4.008288, this issue has been resolved. Thx Aptana team!

Serkan Yersen - 05/Mar/08 10:01 AM
No it's not... Mine is still the same

Ben - 06/May/08 08:48 AM
The problem isn't solved, Version 1.1.6
